Llanthony Secunda Priory

Llanthony Secunda Priory’s beautiful medieval ruins and restored listed buildings offer a perfect setting for any wedding or party. Set within 5 acres of peaceful grounds, next to Gloucester Quays, you could even arrive in style by boat from the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal! The central location means access is easy and there is accommodation nearby for you and your guests. The historic buildings have plenty of character, and thanks to the recent restoration project they have plenty of modern facilities too. The grounds offer a great backdrop for wedding photography, and additional space to keep your guests entertained.

The Lady Margaret Hall can host up to 60 guests; with its oak beams and lime washed walls, this spacious hall in our Medieval Range is perfect for wedding ceremonies. The hall is on the first floor, offering additional privacy, but there is a lift to make sure the hall is accessible for everyone.

The Henry Dene Hall can host up to 80 guests for ceremonies, and around 120 guests for wedding receptions and parties. The historic brick walls add plenty of character to this space, whilst the high ceilings give the hall a light and spacious feel. The Hall is on the ground floor, accessible for all, and the large space is hugely versatile, with space available for a bar and a dance floor.
