How to book
Whether you choose a simple registration or a more traditional ceremony you will need to contact the ceremonies team at Gloucestershire Registration Service on 01452 425060 (option 3).
During the booking process, one of our experienced ceremony coordinators will discuss your choice of ceremony and the availability of our registrars. Please note that booking with us can take 10-15 minutes over the phone.
Once you have made your booking, an online customer account will be created for you. Through this account, you will be able to make your payments, book your notice appointments (only applicable if you both reside in Gloucestershire) and personalise your ceremony, by selecting your ceremony choices.
The ceremonies team will also confirm the details in an email that will include a unique reference number which relates to your booking and your online account login details. When contacting us, please quote your reference number.
A booking administration fee (non refundable) is payable online within 24 hours of making your booking. Details of our fees will be provided during the booking process.
Please be aware you must sign a legal statement at your local register office to say you intend to get married or form a civil partnership. This is known as ‘giving notice’. You will be required to attend a notice appointment at your local register office. The ceremonies team can advise you further on attending a notice appointment when you book.
