Berkeley Castle

Berkeley Castle is a magical exclusive use venue where you can have the day of your dreams and become part of an unbroken 860 years of living history.

Having recently won the Best UK Wedding Venue award at the British Wedding Awards, you can be assured you’re in safe hands when choosing Berkeley Castle for your wedding day. Our expert and friendly wedding planners will be on hand right from the moment you view the Castle to on the day itself, to lend a helpful hand as well as advice.

Marry in the grand Great Hall or hold an intimate and cosy ceremony in the Long Drawing Room. Celebrate with drinks on the Gun Terrace and let your guests meander down to the stunning Lilly Pond where they can enjoy canapés and perhaps some garden games. Gather family and friends for a memorable wedding banquet in the Great Hall… and for winter weddings dine in front of roaring fires! Sip on tea and coffee in the Drawing Rooms before getting your dancing shoes on for your First Dance and Evening Reception.

At the end of the evening, have our car and driver drop you at Blossom Cottage, our bespoke Bridal Cottage which is yours for the evening of your wedding.

Whilst the above offers some suggestions on how your wedding day can flow, we very much believe in individuality. We are always extremely flexible and very much encourage you to create your wedding day to be just that… yours! With your own touches, ideas and inspiration behind it to truly reflect you both as a couple.

The Castle and Grounds are yours for the day so you may use them as you wish.
