Painswick Rococo Garden
Nestled in a hidden valley just outside the historic village of Painswick, the Rococo Garden dates from the 1740s and was designed to delight guests at lavish parties. Restored to its former glory, the Garden provides an unusual and romantic backdrop to a memorable wedding day.
The most popular buildings for weddings in the Garden are the Red House and Eagle House.
The Red House with its magnificent vista provides a wonderful entrance for the bridal party. The terrace outside provides a dramatic stage from which up to 100 guests can watch the ceremony from below. For legal reasons the wedding vows will be said inside the building with your witnesses, but can be repeated outside after so your guests can participate in your special words.
The Eagle House is a more intimate space for a smaller occasion. The soft pink and white exterior decoration and gorgeous views across the Garden make this a picture-perfect spot. The generous acoustics allow up to 40 guests to listen from outside.
The Garden has three other spaces licensed for weddings - get in touch to find out more.
